Under the overall authority of the Director for Communications and Public Engagement (CPE) and the direct supervision of the Senior Communication Officer (Lead Strategic Planning Team and Crisis Cell)The incumbent coordinates the Divisions teams on technical financial and administrative matters particularly in budget procurement risk management and HR to support the effective delivery of communication and public engagement initiatives in UNESCO.
Within this context the incumbent will contribute to the elaboration of UNESCOs strategic objectives and assist in effective programme development and implementation ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a proven capacity to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Able to work independently and prioritize tasks in alignment with organizational goals.
Team-oriented and culturally sensitive with strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
Proficient in standard office software (e.g. MS Office Outlook Excel) and digital collaboration tools.

UNESCOs salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave family allowance medical insurance pension plan etc.
The approximate annual starting salary for this post is 68 555.82 US $.
