We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with strong ownership and passion for delivering creative solutions to complex problems. As a TPM you will collaborate with stakeholders product managers and development managers to drive software development from design to successful deployment. You will manage multiple projects with conflicting needs and priorities with cross-functional teams track program/project status communicate progress identify and mitigate risks. TPMs continuously strive for performance improvements and set higher standards in project execution using objective metrics.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders and cross-functional development on new technology from design through delivery
- Communicate regularly with senior management on status risks and change control
- Host program/project meetings lead to conclusion provide meeting minutes and track action items for the team
- Communicate regularly with the software team and product managers regarding program/project schedule tracking status updates and removing obstacles
- Develop processes improvements and procedures and drive adoption within the organization
- Lead team retrospectives that maximize learning. Incorporate improvements into our development processes and apply them to future programs.

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience managing agile teams using Jira.
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure
- Data analysis and prior experience with BI Tools (QuickSight Tableau etc..)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
