Whats the role

Westpac is delivering a large-scale Technology Simplification program including the migration from Group Hogan to our internal Core Banking platform (TBK).

Were looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the Scaling stream ensuring our applications and infrastructure are ready to handle up to 70% more transaction volume. Youll work closely with 50 application teams to gather and translate requirements supporting both applications and infrastructure uplift.

This is a Sydney-based role with hybrid working (currently 2 days in the office Mondays & Thursdays).

What do I need

Were looking for a senior BA who can work independently manage multiple stakeholders and bring a strong technical lens. Youll need:
Experience gathering requirements across both applications and infrastructure.
Ability to collaborate with large numbers of teams and manage competing priorities.
Strong understanding of infrastructure environments (front end back end middleware integrations; mainframe desirable but not essential).
Proven success delivering outcomes in complex financial services environments.
Skilled in Confluence and Jira for documenting and managing requirements.
