Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Serving as a technical contact person for an agile team that is responsible for providing and further developing central developer tools used at ALDI SD
- Designing implementing and operating central developer tools for SCM CI/CD artifact management and SAST
- Coordinating with other units within international IT such as security enterprise architecture and infrastructure
- Advising and supporting developer teams from international and national IT in using developer tools as part of onboarding measures general questions or solutions
- Developing and maintaining tools
- Creating documentation and conducting training sessions
- Advising developers on DevOps tools
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- IT apprenticeship in application development or university degree with a focus on IT
- Several years of experience in software development
- Experience with and a good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Experience with source code management tools such as GitLab GitHub or Azure DevOps
- Experience in creating and optimising CI/CD pipelines with for example using GitLab CI
- Experience with artifact management solutions such as Cloudsmith jFrog Artifactory or Nexus
- Know-how in the area of automation preferably with Python and Go
- Experience with Terraform
- Strategic and architectural mindset
- Good organisational skills
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Fluency in English
Desirable extras.
- Expertise in development using JavaScript Java Go and Python
- Experience in using Bash for automation purposes
- Experience in cloud-native infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes serverless functions)
- Experience in automating cloud deployments ideally using infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
