Within the Supply Chain team at Tooheys we are empowered to make a difference by delivering best-in-class manufacturing solutions. Due to a recent exciting internal promotion we are now seeking aSenior Operations Manager(internally referred to asPackaging Manager) to join our leadership team at our Brewery in Lidcombe on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Brewery Director you will focus on:
Leadership and Strategy:Set the direction and strategy for our packaging department guiding a team of 120 members to achieve world-class performance results. Champion a high-growth culture and lead high-performing teams.
Process Excellence:Develop and implement the packaging strategy master planning manning and line philosophy to deliver sustainable costs productivity and customer delivery.
Continuous Improvement:Drive effective deployment and enhancement of our Best Practice Processes. Lead line performance improvement across OEE and ME through changeover effectiveness start-ups and autonomous maintenance.
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM):Guide the team on the TPM journey ensuring continuous improvement in all aspects of the packaging process.
Safety and Culture:Prioritise safety and promote Lions safety culture fostering an environment of safety excellence.
About You:
Change Management:Proven experience driving change and influencing people and teams to achieve outstanding results.
Process Improvement:High-level process improvement skills with strong analytical abilities and strategic problem-solving skills.
Coaching and Accountability:Ability to coach for performance ensuring accountability and driving results through your team.
Technical Expertise:Strong background in FMCG manufacturing and/or engineering with proficiency in lean principles.
Resilience:Managerial courage and resilience to navigate and lead through challenges.
