Job Description
What Youll Do:
You will be a key point of contact to internal stakeholders across all divisions within the organisation to provide assistance with understanding and interpreting the Profit and Loss.
- Analysis: Perform ongoing analysis of key financial positions reports and processes within the Controlling responsibilities.
- Reporting: Develop prepare and present reports on financial performance and other key metrics to provide meaningful analysis and commentary to assist with decision making
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and improve overall efficiency.
- Month End Responsibilities: Assist the Lead Management Accountant with the review of month end tasks with consideration to the impact on the divisional results to assist with commentary to management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies industry regulations and safety
standards related to inventory management and internal controls.
What Youll Bring:
- Strong interpersonal skills which enable you to partner with all employees within the organisation
- Ability to explain complex accounting to stakeholders of varying degrees of financial literacy
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills together with a passion for working with complexity
- Experience with data analytical tools in Excel - Power Query Power Pivot etc
- Experience with Power BI advantageous
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce Accounting or similar (CPA or CA required)
- 5 years experience working in a complex sales and distribution organisation in a Management Accountant / Controller role
