Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for an ICT Operations Manager at the Royal Childrens Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne. This role is five days a week on site at the hospital owning maintenance and support of the Downers operational technology onsite. Join our Business Technology and Health & Education teams to play a key role in managing and optimising ICT operations. Reporting to the Operational Technology Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
- Leading the day-to-day ICT operations to ensure service excellence and compliance with performance standards.
Manage and maintain onsite ICT infrastructure including servers storage and network systems to ensure operational continuity.
Provide technical support for RCH systems leveraging internal and vendor resources where needed to facilitate highly available solutions.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align ICT services with evolving business and client needs.
Implementing and maintaining ICT governance policies and best practices.
Offer guidance and advice to the local Downer contract team regarding ICT systems and be the key technical contact for ICT aligned projects.
What Youll Bring
Demonstrated capability delivering Level 3 technical support with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex ICT issues.
Strong background in vendor engagement including contract management service delivery oversight and issue resolution.
Proven experience in managing and/or supporting IT infrastructure projects including planning execution technical delivery and stakeholder coordination.
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with Operational Technology environments including building management systems and security systems is highly advantageous.
