Your Responsabilities
As a Supply Chain in Singapore your responsabilities are:
- Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality health safety environmental and ethics policies;
Manage the need for assigned vessels for assigned goods & services portfolio;
Ensure the timely ordering of the day-to-day requisitions;
Process approval for quotation and offers received to place order;
Ensure delivery on time on board through logistic chain from the supplier to the vessel;
Apply the best practice defined by the group procurement; Prepare and send enquiries to the relevant (registered
and part of the panel) suppliers;
Analyze the suppliers offers and choose the best one according to procurement policy;
Follow availability of the orders at suppliers premises;
Ensure and follow shipments of orders through logistic chain from supplier to in-house warehouse and to shipyard
and/or vessel; Arrange the backorders if necessary;
Follow the PI (problematic invoice) for a better 3-way match between PO/ Invoice/ good receipt.
Your Profile
- License degree in supply chain
- 2 years of experience in supply chain
- Knowledge in technical shipping management is a plus
- Experience in MS Office
- Good English communication skills (B2 or higher)
- Basic technical knowledge of vessels
