As a Speech-Language Pathologist you will play a vital role in supporting students communication needs through a variety of responsibilities. You ll participate in multidisciplinary team meetings including IEP meetings to ensure collaborative planning and support. Your role includes conducting comprehensive evaluations of students speech and language abilities and developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. You will provide direct therapy using evidence-based practices monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure student growth. Additionally you ll educate students families and school staff on effective strategies to enhance communication skills while collaborating closely with teachers special education personnel and other professionals to align therapy goals with each student s educational program.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to support their professional development. Applicants should be eligible or able to obtain a Speech Pathology license in Illinois with licensing reimbursement available. Additionally candidates must either hold or be eligible to apply for ASHA certification.
