Job Description

Knowledge Translation Lead

  • Employment Type: Full - time (35 hours a week)
  • Duration: Fixed Term contract until 30th June 2026
  • Remuneration: $127351 base plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
  • Work rights required: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.
  • Location: Hybrid Randwick Sydney

The National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED)brings researchers practitioners and consumers together to create a robust evidence base for treatment and interventions for people who use methamphetamine and emerging other drugs of concern.

Details of the role

The National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED) is a national research centre that seeks to embed research in clinical practice. It aims to support clinicians to detect and respond to new drug health problems by building clinical research capacity and rapidly translating findings into clinical practice. The Centre aims to develop and implement a system that allows for rapid flexible and collaborative responses to emerging substances that are having prevalent persistent and harmful health and community impacts.

The Knowledge Translation Lead plays a key role leading the Centres strategic efforts to translate research into clinical practice. The role combines project leadership sector engagement and evidence implementation to drive clinical and public health improvements.

This role will suit a candidate with experience in health program delivery digital knowledge translation and stakeholder coordination across clinical and research environments. It involves working closely with the Centres leadership to ensure research outputs are effectively communicated adopted and embedded into practice.

The role reports to the Director and Deputy Director.
