About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to join our team in Bangalore focused on B2B sales of capital utility equipment across South India. This role is critical in expanding our industrial client base through proactive field activities technical selling and strategic relationship management.
You will be expected to independently generate leads conduct 10–12 client meetings per week and close high-value deals (50 lakhs to multiple crores) primarily in pharmaceutical and process industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive direct B2B sales of capital utility equipment including chillers HVAC systems boilers DG sets water treatment plants and air compressors.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling field visits and referrals.
- Conduct technical product presentations and demos in coordination with engineering teams.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline; nurture client relationships from initial contact through to contract closure and post-sales support.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals balancing commercial goals with client needs.
- Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to develop tailored equipment solutions.
- Maintain updated knowledge of market trends competition and industry developments.
- Create and implement territory sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of proven experience in field sales of capital equipment in industrial B2B sectors.
- Strong background in selling to pharmaceutical and process industries is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in closing large deals (50 lakhs to multiple crores).
- Educational qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; fluency in South Indian languages is a plus.
- Must possess a proactive self-driven attitude with the ability to operate independently.
- Leadership potential with team-building experience is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel to Chennai and Hyderabad for client engagement (monthly 3–4 days each).
