IT Manager I - Infrastructure Security Manager

What youll do:
As an IT Manager I Cyber you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Cyber system processes and structures that support multiple technology disciplines. You will manage a small to mid-size team responsible for delivering functional projects on time and within budget. This role involves close collaboration with internal business partners to proactively address customer needs and ensure timely resolution of issues. You will foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and the delivery of working Cyber solutions.
You will also support IT leadership in delivering products and services evaluating technologies and setting standards. Additionally you will recommend improvements to established business processes while ensuring high-value execution. You will create comprehensive project plans remove impediments and track overall project performance to support the achievement of both short- and long-term business goals.
This role also includes responsibility for implementing and managing enterprise security technologies ensuring alignment with governance risk and compliance (GRC) frameworks and supporting audit readiness through technical control implementation and documentation.
- Implement Cyber safety procedures and data recovery plans. Develop Cyber user manuals policies procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage a small to mid-size technology team and support Cyber Leadership in employee development retention resource planning talent management and performance management.
- Recruit train and evaluate staff performance to build a diverse and engaged workforce.
- Analyze a variety of data and summarize findings in reports or other communication formats.
- Use data insights to identify areas of improvement and collaborate with business and technical leads to drive growth.
- Lead the implementation and management of security technologies including Network Security Policy Management (NSPM) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools.
- Align security engineering practices with compliance frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 HIPAA PCI-DSS and SOX.
- Translate GRC requirements into technical controls and ensure they are implemented monitored and tested for effectiveness.
- Provide technical documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT operations to embed security into infrastructure and cloud designs.
- Automate compliance checks and generate reports for stakeholders and auditors.
What youll need:
- 5 years of related experience in IT Security Cybersecurity or a similar field.
- 3 years of leadership experience required.
- Bachelors degree in a related field required.
- Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and industry standards.
- Intermediate experience managing a technology team within a specific functional area ensuring high-quality delivery of products or services.
- Intermediate experience with executing KPIs and meeting project timelines.
- Hands-on experience with NSPM tools (e.g. Tufin AlgoSec FireMon) and DSPM tools (e.g. BigID Varonis Symmetry Systems).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure AWS) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Proficiency with ITSM and GRC platforms (e.g. ServiceNow Archer).
- Strong understanding of GRC frameworks and how they apply to technical environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM CRISC or GIAC are a plus.
- Occasional travel required.
