About the role
Windermeres Redress Support Service provides a trauma informed response to victim survivors of institutional child sexual abuse. Our state-wide access point is a pathway to information advice an assessment of needs and referral for ongoing Redress support and other services as required. Victim survivors may be referred for ongoing Redress support to the funded Redress Support Services across Victoria or internally to Windermere Redress Support Workers according to capacity.
This position is perfectly suited for Support Workers with a minimum of 3 years experience in a trauma related program or similar field.
There is currently 1 Part-Time Contract position available 0.8 (30.4 hours per week) until 30 June 2026 with potential for contract to be extended.

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work Social Welfare or relevant equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience within the community sector preferably in a trauma related field
Case management intake and assessment experience
Is approachable reliable and trustworthy; maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality where required.
Ability to build strong professional relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive culturally responsive safe and accessible.
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks - including Police Check Pre-Employment Medical and Working with Childrens check
Right to Work in Australia e.g. Australian Citizen Permanent Resident or Visa holder with full working rights
