Presbyterian is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist.
Similar to a Medical Assistant / MA Cardiovascular invasive technologists provide essential support by preparing patients for procedures ensuring smooth clinical flow and assisting physicians during cardiac treatments and interventions. They are skilled in operating cardiac monitoring equipment such as EKGs Holter monitors event recorders and performing pacemaker checks. Beyond procedural duties they maintain a clean safe and well-stocked environmentensuring each exam or intervention is conducted with precision efficiency and optimal patient care.
Type of Opportunity: Full Time (1.0 FTE/40 hours per week)
Work Schedule: 8 Hour Days

This position is eligible for the Northern New Mexico differential of $4.00 per hour. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.)
Provides primary support by preparing patients for visits and assisting physicians during cardiac procedures.
Operates and manages cardiac equipment including EKGs Holter monitors event recorders and pacemaker checks.
Maintains a clean well-stocked and safe clinical environment in alignment with infection control standards.
Uses teamwork and communication to support care coordination and efficient patient flow.
Handles patient calls regarding test results medications and referrals under provider direction.
Trained in scheduling prior authorization processes and referral management.
Manages indirect care tasks including Kanban stocking document tracking and clerical support when needed.
Schedules appointments monitors provider calendars and manages no-shows and reminder calls.
Processes authorizations and referrals for diagnostics durable medical equipment and specialist care.
Tracks and manages patient forms including Advanced Directives and FMLA paperwork.
Applies AIDET principles and strong communication skills to deliver responsive compassionate patient care.
Keeps providers informed of patient concerns and clinical environment issues.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and supports clinical metric goals.
Demonstrates CARES values: Collaborative Accountable Respect Engage Serve.
Carries out additional duties as needed in alignment with job responsibilities.
