Job Description
Position: MRI Technologist
Start Date: 8/11/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 8
Shift Notes: 8hr Days 40hr gt
Weekend Requirements: TBD/Holiday coverage if required
On-Call Requirements: POSSIBLE CALL
COVID-19/FLU Requirement: COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23) NOW REQUIRED FOR THIS HEALTH SYSTEM.

IF APPROVED BY HEALTHSYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing please include the perm address in the profile upload.
8hrs non-billable orientation
Holiday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%
- GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
- Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift
- Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler and will never work solo
- After midnight the department is covered by a call.
** BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED. 10/12HR SHIFTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.
** DO NOT UPLOAD A TRAVELER WHO WILL REQUEST SCHEDULE ACCOMMODATIONS OR WHO WILL NOT WORK POSTED SCHEDULE
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Submission Requirements
- 2 Years of CURRENT MRI experience
- ARRT (MR) Certification - Required
- GE Equipment experience - Required
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
- Must be willing to take calls as needed
- Traveler must have their own vehicle

- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile
