Job Title: Platform Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking experienced Platform Engineers to join a dynamic cloud infrastructure team responsible for expanding Cribl Stream by implementing and managing worker groups across AWS Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within five distinct public cloud landing zones. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud-native services Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and cloud operations in multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and manage Cribl Stream worker groups in AWS Azure and OCI environments.
- Build scale and monitor highly available infrastructure platforms across multiple cloud providers.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform CloudFormation Pulumi or similar tools.
- Implement automation for provisioning configuration management and application deployment using Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Collaborate with Cloud Architects Security and DevOps teams to ensure reliable and secure platform operations.
- Troubleshoot system-level issues across cloud environments and provide performance tuning where necessary.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools using Jenkins GitLab etc.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for platform-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure or OCI); multi-cloud experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language: Python Golang Ruby or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation/configuration tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform CloudFormation Pulumi.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation using Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and log management (Cribl Splunk ELK Datadog etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across systems and network stacks.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cribl Stream or similar observability pipelines.
- Certifications in AWS Azure or OCI.
- Experience in regulated industries or enterprise-scale cloud operations.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
