Job Description
Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Bar Manager at our brand-new Canadian Brewhouse restaurant in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Your Purpose: The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar function ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the entire bar department. They are accountable for ensuring liquor inventory and ordering is completed and for scheduling bartenders and support staff. The Bar Manager maintains all equipment and sufficient inventory levels to meet business demands.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives and The Canadian Brewhouses vision mission and safety principles to make a difference in guests lives.
Manage the activities of the Bar driving sales service and satisfaction.
Oversee all aspects pertaining to drink preparation and drink service including prep lists recipe books drink preparation presentation service and waste.
Lead by example when bartending follow service steps keep a positive attitude and provide great service.
Create the bar schedule based on targets and projections and ensure labour budgets are being met shift by shift.
Manage and monitor the liquor and glassware inventory drive sales of slow-moving or high inventory products.
Be responsible for the maintenance of inventory systems BevCheck and draft systems.
Be responsible for completing daily weekly and periodic administrative paperwork recordkeeping and reporting.
Be responsible for bar organization and cleanliness; adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules and ensure staff follow the procedures set out in the Health and Safety manual.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Team: Reporting to the General Manager you will be a key participant in initiating developing and executing plans and policies to ensure continued growth in sales service employee satisfaction and guest satisfaction. You will share feedback about programs processes the Bar Manager role events and product launches with the General Manager and operational leaders openly honestly and often.

It is a short drive to Prince Albert National Park that houses countless lakes activities and events to choose from! The City of Prince Albert has several parks and recreational activities as well. Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in the restaurant / bar industry and:
You are outgoing personable and fun.
You possess 2 years of experience bartending in high volume restaurants taverns or bars; you possess a passion for mixology and have supervisory or leadership experience in a bar setting.
You have inventory management and ordering experience.
You possess some knowledge of financial tools budgeting and planning.
You possess or are willing to attain Serve it Right Food Wise and First Aid certifications.
You have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
You have strong attention to detail especially related to inventory and recipe specifications.
You possess personal organization and time management skills.
You have inherent coaching leading and motivational skills.
You handle stress and a fast-paced environment well.
You are kind patient reasonable and show empathy.
You work well in a dynamic team environment.
You have the ability to work urgently while remaining calm.
You have a flexible work schedule and will work closing-managing shifts and complete full shutdown of the store during peak sales hours i.e. evenings and weekends.
