Job Description Summary
Unison is the leading provider of differentiated engine controls accessories and performance monitoring solutions in the Aerospace Defense & Space segments. Serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers Unison designs manufactures and supplies the most advanced components and systems in the world.Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality assurance activities within the production environment.
- Develop implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and products.
- Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to track performance and identify trends.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing).
- Minimum of 3 years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
