Job Description
Were a leading custom plastic fabricator specializing in corrosive air and liquid handling systems and were seeking a driven detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Crystal Lake IL. In this role youll wear multiple hatsquoting coordinating problem-solving and delivering complex projects for industrial and commercial clients across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quotes proposals and cost estimates
- Manage projects from order through installationincluding engineering purchasing materials production and quality
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints P&IDs and schematics
- Coordinate with customers to verify requirements and communicate updates
- Ensure jobs are completed on time on spec and within budget
- Review job performance to improve future project outcomes
- Interface with internal teams and departments to maintain smooth project flow
- Continuously learn and master our custom product line
Qualifications:
- Proven experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
- At least 35 years of experience in manufacturing project management or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Outlook and Excel
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple fast-moving projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated go-getter attitude with excellent follow-through
