As an Account Associate you will be integral in supporting the Senior Account Manager and sales team helping with the seamless execution of sales functions on your account(s). You will provide essential support across multiple areas from order and sample management and sales analysis to ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries. This role demands strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Sales Support: Support the Sr. Account Manager and sales team with all hands-on deck mentality to implement initiatives that drive growth and achieve sales targets. Assist in the execution of sales plans and contribute to achieving account objectives.
Day-to-Day Account Management: Manage account documentation and item setups. Collaborate with sales team to manage credit memos and financial claims. Support your teams go-to-market activities including sell in and pre-strategy meetings.
Order Management: Manage pre-season order entry planned unit maintenance and ensure all account-specific product needs (including sizing tools) are met to achieve on-time accurate deliveries and seamless order flow with minimized chargebacks. Troubleshoot as needed any internal and external customer order and credit challenges to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Sample & Product Management: End-to-end ownership of in-season and pre-season sample lines including ordering unpacking logging tagging and internal/external distribution.
Sales Analysis & Reporting: Populate timely weekly monthly quarterly and seasonal sales and shipping reports and analysis tools to track and communicate business performance and be able to provide data insights from the analysis
Relationship Building: Develop strong collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders supporting cross-functional initiatives and account-specific needs.
Marketplace Learning: Immerse yourself in the retail and fashion industry staying informed on trends the customer the competition retail pricing our product floor layouts and conducting site audits.
About You
Educational Background: A bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred or 4 years of combined college education and work experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a retail/wholesale apparel business or similar consumer packaged goods industry with a focus on sales merchandising or retail support functions.
Results-Driven: Takes ownership of performance outcomes and is motivated by achieving results.
Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Enjoys digging into data and analyzing trends to identify key insights and opportunities with an eye on the details ensuring deliverables are thorough accurate and on time. Possess basic retail math understanding.
Collaborative: Works effectively across teams prioritizes communication and contributes to positive inclusive working environment . Demonstrates flexibility.
Customer- Service Focused: Understands the needs of internal and external customers and prioritizes actions that ensure customer satisfaction.
Proactive & Adaptable: Actively seeks opportunities for improvement and can thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with ability to manage time effectively. Comfortable in taking initiative.
Technologically Skilled: Proficient in MS Office applications particularly strong Excel skills (V-Lookup Pivot Tables) and comfortable learning new technologies new systems and reporting tools.
The expected starting salary range for this role is$42700- $ may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications experience skills performance and business needs.
