Overlooking Grant Park this Chicago staple has been serving farm-to-fork tap-to-pint favorites and live entertainment on select evening in this authentic Irish Pub atmosphere for over 35 years
The Hilton Chicago hotel opened its doors in 1927 and has served as one of the citys most revered addresses ever since. Located on South Michigan Avenue and overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan the hotel has been meticulously redesigned and restored in a way that preserves the magnificence of its early 20th Century style while incorporating all of the 21st Century conveniences our guests expect.
With 1544 guest rooms and suites 234000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space a full menu of amenities exceptional dining options and an ideal location in downtown Chicago the hotel is both accommodating and convenient.
What will I be doing
As a Food Server you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Respond to guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal state local and company regulations
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
Pay Rate
The hourly rate upon hire is $12.62. After completion of 1 year of employment the rate will increase to $13.36 or the applicable union rate at the time.
