Known for exceptional food hospitality and operational excellence the group is expanding its leadership team to support continued growth. Theyre now hiring a seasoned Controller to take ownership of all financial operations and provide strategic guidance to the executive team.
The Controller will serve as the financial leader across all six restaurant locations overseeing accounting functions financial reporting budgeting and compliance. This role will collaborate closely with ownership and operations leadership to ensure accurate financials optimized costs and scalable systems as the group grows.
Lead and manage all accounting operations including AP AR GL and payroll
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Oversee budgeting forecasting and cash flow management
Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) labor costs and prime cost targets
Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
Manage relationships with CPAs banks and external vendors
Oversee compliance with federal state and local tax requirements
Support new location openings and capital planning
Coordinate financial systems integration with POS and payroll systems
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
5 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
Experience managing multi-unit operations is strongly preferred
Deep understanding of restaurant financial metrics (COGS labor % prime cost)
Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel; familiarity with restaurant POS and payroll systems
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
