Salary Information: Annual Minimum Salary-$52800-Annual Maximum Salary-$79200
Hiring Rate: $25.38-$27.88
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy Doctor of Dental Medicine Master of Arts in Medical Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five-state region.

Reporting to the Director of the Simulation Center the Manager of Simulation Education oversees the development delivery and quality assurance of simulation-based education. This role ensures curriculum alignment with learning objectives and Standards of Best Practice (SOBP) directly supervises Simulation Educators and drives continuous improvement in educational programs and operational effectiveness within the Simulation Center.
Essential Job Functions:
Curriculum Development & Program Management: Collaborates with faculty to develop review and implement robust simulation-based educational materials and curricula ensuring alignment with learning objectives and SOBP.
Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance: Maintains comprehensive oversight of quality assurance for all simulation activities ensuring strict adherence to best practices and contributes to the development and implementation of related policies.
Staff Supervision & Development: Provides direct managerial oversight training and mentorship for full-time Simulation Educators and offers functional supervision and clear task assignment for any per-diem staff supporting educational activities.
Educational Training & Faculty Development: Designs and delivers comprehensive training programs for staff and faculty on simulation pedagogy content creation and assessment standardization.
Operational Coordination & Support: Supports daily simulation center operations including efficient educational activity coordination scheduling resource utilization and management of Simulated Patient (SP) integration leveraging expertise in SP methodology.
Data Analysis & Program Assessment: Develops analyzes and reports on educational program data (e.g. outcomes engagement effectiveness) to inform strategic decision-making and identifies trends in student performance concerns.
Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
Education:
Required: Associates Degree
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator Certification (CHSE)
Experience:
Required: 1-3 years
Preferred: Expertise in Standardized Patient (SP) methodology recruitment training and management
