Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant Manager to join our team. As an Accountant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company including accounts receivable private equity transactions utilizing accounting software maintaining accurate general ledger accounting records and ensuring financial compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable processes and ensure timely collection of payments
- Handle private equity transactions and maintain accurate records
- Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft to track financial data and generate reports
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks to ensure financial accuracy
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen in analyzing financial information and making recommendations
Property Taxes- Track protest payments
Construction Costs
- Work with utility companies to set-up submit change orders and terminate service
- Use Item Costs within QuickBooks to code and track expenses.
Insurance Coverages-work with carriers to maintain appropriate coverages
Monthly Financials & Loans
- Reconcile and maintain Loan Agreements
- Produce monthly financials based on monthly activity
- Produce reports to present to Owners/ Banks
Outside Entities-Companies under Corporate Umbrella
- Duplicate outside reports into Quick books
- Reconcile Evaluate and report findings from reports
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices
- Experience with financial management and reporting
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing
- Familiarity with accounting software applications
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
