Job Summary:The Player Development Coordinator assists with the coordination of all activities for a Division I program including but not limited to recruiting reporting camps and clinics. Ensures effective and efficient operations to enhance the success of the program.
Additional Department Summary:Assists with the coordination of all activities for a Division I baseball program including recruiting reporting camps and clinics. Ensures effective and efficient operations to enhance the success of the program.
Works a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. Travels between practice facilities office complexes and away games as necessary to carry out functions of the position.
Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher and some experience in collegiate or professional level sport operations athletic administration coaching collegiate sports and/or participation as an athlete at a collegiate or professional sport level.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. Ability to travel between practice facilities office complexes and away games as necessary to carry out functions of the position.
Skills and Knowledge:Good organizational communication and public relation skills. Ability to maintain strict standards of confidentiality. Ability to multitask. Ability to interact effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences including students prospective students parents alumni and donors guests fans coaches staff and the general public.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of NCAA rules/guidelines and SEC rules/regulations as they pertain to Baseball. Significant experience in university administrative and budgetary processes.
