Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Critical Thinking : Enhance problem-solving abilities by managing multiple tasks and contributing to research support. Communication : Improve written and verbal communication skills through social media content creation and interaction with faculty and students. Teamwork and Collaboration : Foster teamwork and professionalism by working closely with faculty staff and fellow students. Digital Technology : Gain experience in utilizing social media platforms for academic and professional purposes. This position supports the Environmental Science & Engineering Department by assisting the department chair with a variety of non-administrative tasks. The student worker will contribute to social media content creation assist with lab organization and help manage departmental events and activities. Key responsibilities include: Creating and scheduling posts for the departments social media platforms. Organizing and maintaining laboratory spaces and equipment. Assisting with department-led events workshops and outreach activities. Supporting department chair in non-administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications
Full-time undergraduate or graduate student preferably majoring in Environmental Science Environmental Engineering or related fields. Ability to multitask and work independently. Strong organizational skills and reliability. Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g. Instagram Twitter LinkedIn). Good academic standing at the university.
