Zantech is looking for a talented Senior Database Administrator to be responsible for designing implementing maintaining and securing organizational databases for an upcoming role supporting a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Financial Services Modernization initiative.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Ensures data integrity performance and accessibility by managing database systems workflows implementing security measures monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues related to data storage and access.
- Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant with the Agency enterprise architecture.
Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
- Eight years experience leading data modeling data warehousing and data migration
- Eight years of AWS RDMS experience
- Eight years of Oracle and/or Microsoft database experience
- Five years of Informatica experience working with IICS PowerCenter and IDQ
- Eight years of SQL proficiency working with WebADIs and APIs
- Five years of experience as a certified cybersecurity expert (i.e. Information System
- Security Engineers (ISSE) or Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) as appropriate)
Required Certifications/Education:
- PostgreSQL Certified Database Administrator certification required
- A minimum of a bachelors degree in information technology or business or computer science
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial SAP ERP implementation is highly desirable.
- Proven background in data migration and application modernization.
- Experience working at DHS or ICE a plus
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance per contract requirements.
