This position will provide complex and critical administrative support for the division andwill primarily support the Transit Safety Manager and Transit Security Manager while working closely with the SSQA Executive Assistant to meet the evolving administrative needs of the division and its employees.
Our ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing details deliverables and competing deadlinesparticularly in support of leadership and their dynamic calendars and agendas. They will alsopossessexceptional professional writing skills with the ability to draft proofread edit and summarize information that may be sensitive technical or complex in nature.This positionwill report totheExecutive Assistantwithin theSSQA Division.

Position Details:This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule every other Thursday.

Work Schedule Details: The work week is 40 hours Monday - Friday with typical hours between 8:00 am 5:00 pm.
Work Location:This position follows a hybrid work schedule. Work will be conducted through a combination of telework and onsite work and meetings at King Street Center and the Chinook Building. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.Forbes named King County as one of Washington States best employers.
