Job Description
St Patricks College is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 7 to 12. Located in Ballarat the College is beautifully resourced and widely recognised for its strong sense of community exceptional staff and vibrant culture. St Patricks College Ballarat is inviting expressions of interest for the following key Positions of Leadership within the Colleges vibrant Performing Arts Program commencing in 2026 for a four-year term:
- Head of Music Faculty
- Head of Drama Faculty
- Head of Performing Arts
- Head of Music Performance
These roles require passionate and dedicated educators who are committed to fostering a strong culture of artistic excellence student engagement and community within their discipline while upholding the Catholic identity and values of the College.
Each successful applicant will bring demonstrated leadership experience with strengths in curriculum innovation performance direction team collaboration and strategic development. They will play a vital role in shaping the Colleges creative vision nurturing student talent and contributing to the holistic formation of students through the performing arts.
As part of a dynamic and collegial arts team these leaders will be instrumental in enhancing the profile of Music Drama and Performance across the College and broader community.

Step 1 - Application to be submitted
Applications must include:

- Position of Leadership you are applying for
- your interest in applying for the role
- a broad outline of experience and;
- responses to the Key Selection Criteria of the role
- Resume which sets out relevant work and study experience
Step 2: Panel Interview
- St Patricks College will select applicants who will progress to panel interview stage
- Panel interview will be held at St Patricks College
Step 3: Reference Checking
- Following panel interview preferred candidates will be referenced checked
Step 4: Appointment
- Interviewed applicants to be notified of outcome by phone and email
