The position is responsible for the inventory management warehousing customer service and logistics activities associated with the

Indian Distribution Center. The position will work to ensure that the company meets its sales inventory and customer service goals.

Manage inventory levels and operational expenses to stated departmental objectives. This position will act as the primary point of contact

for the India Distribution Center. Requires cross functional relationship with Sales Customer Service Logistics/ Supply Chain and Finance

to ensure that a proper forecast is in place that translates into having the right inventory. Provide management with information and local

market intelligence and analysis to support the executive decision-making process.

a) The manager/ deputy manager logistics will be head of pan-India logistics operations consisting of Imports South Asia Exports

FTWZ VAS Domestic warehousing and domestic last mile transportation.

b) The person will also be responsible for $700K spends on services and consumables procurement and will need a strong financial

acumen and above all be an example for ethical and moral conduct.

c) The person will set up a culture of continuous improvement ethical behaviour and open communication within the logistics team

and also the India supply chain team.

d) The person will be a leader and mentor to the team she/ he manages and will lead by example and exhibiting expertise within the

function.

e) The person will be a proactive planner and a solution provider and not wait for directions on routine tasks.

f) For the right candidate the role can be a launching pad for a larger role within India Supply chain and also will be part of the

succession plan for the India Supply Chain role in the medium-term horizon.

The functional roles not limited to:

1. Imports / exports:

a. Ensure all imports are captured in the internal tracker (in close coordination with the planning team) and tracked through

various milestones keeping TAT into consideration. Make timely escalations to the relevant stakeholders and ensure

issues are resolved with 100% compliance to company and country laws

b. Participate in internal trade compliance audit and also act as the India trade compliance owner

c. Coordinate with peers across Asia Pacific region to replicate best practices

d. Ensure all documents are handed over to finance and other departments monthly with an acknowledgement

e. Work closely with Regulatory Affairs function to maintain importability list of materials along with registration details

f. Work closely with Quality Assurance team for label advise import quality issues etc

2. FTWZ ops:

a. Ensure tracking and expediting of VAS at FTWZ

b. Maintain a strong governance on the inventory in FTWZ ensuring importability of materials based on shelf life and also

good storage conditions

3. Domestic WH:

a. Establish a strong but ethical relationship with the 3PL partners focussing on goals KPIs etc

b. Work with 3PL and internal process excellence team to maintain refine and upgrade the KPIs/ SLAs with the 3PL team.

Review performance weekly and provide feedback for improvement and track to closure

c. Help the supply chain leader set up processes integrating with the rest of the supply chain functions and overall

organization for seamless and low touch processing

d. Work with the customer service leader / team to provide visibility on WH processing TAT delays on a daily basis

e. Lead the inventory governance and also run deep dive on discrepancies or process misses

f. Drive a culture of excellence and reduce/ eliminate errors to customers (shortage/ overage/ wrong batches etc)

g. Work with Supply chain excellence process excellence leads to develop and implement analytics visual boards and

other improvements in the WH with strong business case on quality velocity or cost improvement

h. Help set up strong industry processes customised to company’s unique requirements

4. Transportation:

a. Work with onboarded set of transporters towards ensuring on time deliveries

b. Review performance weekly with feedback to the service providers

5. Other leadership activities:

a. Team upskilling motivation growth plan and succession planning for every role and self

b. Inter-functional training within logistics team for backup holiday planning and BCP

c. Work with vendors for provisions on time invoice submission and closely work with finance for payment provision

payment release to vendors

d. Lead daily stand-up meeting in the WH and also lead the logistics part in the supply chain daily meeting with actions

resolutions and operational plans

e. Work with the Supply chain leader to help evaluate the right 3PL and also help implement the new supply chain network

including WH and logistics. Looking for candidate who can operationalise new/ 2nd DC in short span of time without any

disruption to business and put design to action

f. Ability to quickly identify opportunities to use 3PL/ 4PL/ CFA for new network nodes and operationalise them
