Background/Need:
This position serves as the internal communications strategist supporting the internal marketing and change management communications needs of the Finance Strategy and Transformation (FS&T) team. This role will act as liaison between FS&T and production teams within Technical Communications and other internal resources as needed to deliver effective measurable communications. They will serve as project manager collaborating with art directors designers developers editors multimedia specialists and production staff in the development and execution of communications deliverables.
Under the direction of the Finance Communications and Change Management lead and the Technical Communications Manager this individual would have the expertise and connection working directly with Technical Communications and would be embedded for full time support within the AFR program.
Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for providing high-quality communications services creating and executing on communication plans and managing print and multimedia projects to support Finance department initiatives.
Acting as a brand ambassador and creative communications agent they will develop and produce immersive content for a variety of communication channels including print presentations digital displays web and video.
This individual will help project teams integrate change management communications into their project plans.
Must Have:
Background in communications preferably in support of financial disciplines.
Solid understanding and application of communication and information design.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement communication plans that support change management strategies.
Understanding of web design concepts and web-based communications strategies.
Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage edit proofread and cross-check technical and financial content with a high attention to detail.
Demonstrated capabilities in presenting ideas written and orally.
Solid project management and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly with SharePoint (i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint) .
Nice to Have:
Experience with finance communications planning and support.
Experience in large organization change management initiatives or business transformation.
Knowledge of organizational and cultural change management best practices and methodology or is willing to research learn and apply a methodology for consistent implementation.
Experience coordinating enterprise-wide initiatives events and communication/marketing efforts.
Graphic design aptitude and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design software.
Familiarity with collaboration tools asset management tools and corresponding workflows. Education & Experience: Bachelors with 2 years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
