Job Description
Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization stays compliant with the laws and regulations
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies ensuring timely reporting and resolution of compliance matters
Program Review and Development
- Develop implement and maintain compliance programs policies and procedures
- Analyze new and changing laws and regula ons that impact the companys business and advise senior management accordingly
- Review compliance risk assessments and determine if current processes control risk
Training and Internal Education
- Drafting and maintaining employee training for compliance
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related policies and best practices
- Ensure all staff understand and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
Compliance Reporting and Documentation
- Create maintain and update reporting of compliance tests and risk assessments
- Prepare reports to the executive leadership on compliance status
Qualifications :
- 5 years of regulatory compliance experience including at least one year of experience as a senior compliance officer at a mid-to-large size company (100 employees).
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to imports customs and FinCEN. Fashion industry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience communicating and interacting with regulatory agencies and regulatory affairs
- Experience in conducting training sessions and developing compliance frameworks
- English/Korean Bilingual
- Certified Compliance Professional or other compliance related certification
