Company Overview:
Seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Physical Technical Security Officer in our Fairfax VA location. This position is responsible for all physical and technical security aspects within Zeta s facilities to ensure compliance with Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines including support for special projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure Zeta facilities are constructed to meet ICD 705 and TEMPEST security requirements.
Interpret and apply security policies during the full lifecycle of construction from concept design to completion.
Act as Construction Security Manager (CSM) by reviewing and ensuring quality compliance and completeness of required documentation (e.g. CSPs FFCs TEMPEST checklists).
Monitor status of facility construction equipment installation accreditation documentation scheduling approvals and any arising conflicts.
Review architectural drawings for security compliance and accuracy.
Coordinate security review visits testing and engagements with PTCOs and AOs.
Conduct and assist with self-inspections and customer inspections to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate records of accreditations co-use/joint-use agreements and track expirations.
Develop and implement security plans SOPs and program protection plans in compliance with AO and government regulations.
Manage Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) Access Control Systems (ACS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
Oversee after-hours on-site guard services.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Security Management or related field or equivalent education and/or training in a related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of physical security experience supporting the IC and/or DoD.
Hands-on experience managing security for SCIFs and classified facilities.
Demonstrated experience with ICD-705 TEMPEST NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and 2001.53 Open Storage Area requirements.
Understanding of classification guidance and program protection planning.
Experience providing construction recommendations for facility accreditation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio.
Strong verbal written administrative and organizational skills.
Able to lift and carry ladders/equipment up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines multitask effectively and prioritize assignments.
Preferred / Additional Qualifications:
Significant experience supporting or working directly with the NRO.
Strong working knowledge of NRO systems of record (classified title).
Must be dependable trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision.
