Education Qualification: Any graduation or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Test Engineer with strong proficiency in SQL and experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data integrity data flow and backend processes across wealth management platforms. You will work closely with business analysts developers and other QA engineers to ensure the accuracy and performance of database-driven applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Perform database testing to validate data accuracy data integrity and data transformations across systems.
Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend data perform data profiling and support functional testing.
Analyze business requirements and create test cases test scenarios and test scripts focused on database layers.
Work with developers and business analysts to understand data flow across wealth management systems and processes.
Test ETL jobs stored procedures and data pipelines to ensure end-to-end data consistency.
Perform regression integration and system testing on financial platforms.
Report defects clearly with detailed evidence and work closely with development teams for quick resolution.
Document test results maintain test artifacts and support UAT efforts.
Ensure testing aligns with financial compliance and data privacy standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5 years of experience in Database/Backend Testing.
Strong hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries joins stored procedures and functions.
Experience in testing data migration ETL workflows and reporting systems.
Familiarity with Wealth Management Mutual Funds Portfolio Management or Investment Products is highly preferred.
Knowledge of data warehousing and financial reporting systems is a plus.
Experience with tools like JIRA TestRail Postman or ReadyAPI.
Understanding of SDLC STLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical skills attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
