Job Description

HydroNeo is a fast-growing international startup revolutionizing the global aquaculture industry with smart farming technology. As the market leader in Thailand our goal is to transform our Smart Farm Management System into the HydroNeo Aquaculture Super App. With strong backing from Thai and international investors BOI support and a 30 member team we are building the future of sustainable aquaculture.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and solution-driven Support & Service Engineer to join our technical team. You will be primarily based in our Bangkok office. This is a key role that combines technical problem-solving hardware preparation and customer-facing support for our smart aquaculture systems.

We welcome experienced applicants as well as graduates. Important is the mindset and passion to work with soft- and hardware.

Tasks

  • Provide technical support via ticket system phone video calls and messaging platforms
  • Perform root-cause analysis of technical issues reported by customers
  • Prepare configure and test smart farming devices before shipment
  • Assist with the packaging and logistics of hardware deliveries to customers
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer farms for installation troubleshooting or field trials
  • Support installation partners and customers with wiring hardware setup and connectivity issues
  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to report bugs propose improvements and ensure high product quality
  • Document all service cases findings and solutions in the system

Requirements

  • Educational background or hands-on experience in electrical engineering electronics or related fields
  • Solid understanding of electrical installations (e.g. wiring power supplies sensor setups)
  • Experience with microelectronics embedded systems or IoT devices is a strong plus
  • Basic understanding of software and ability to follow technical documentation
  • Ability to explain technical topics in a clear customer-friendly way
  • Comfortable using ticket systems and working with structured support workflows
  • Reliable proactive and independent working style
  • Must be based in Bangkok and willing to travel occasionally to customer sites (within Thailand)
  • Thai language fluency required advanced English skills preferred
