Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to develop support and maintain a scalable automation tool that processes policy test data from spreadsheets and integrates it into target systems for validation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and API development with additional experience in test automation DevOps practices and CI/CD tools. This role involves ensuring the tools ongoing reliability and efficiency proactively addressing issues and implementing timely fixes and collaborating closely with the team to gather feedback and enhance the tools functionality in line with evolving workflows and requirements.
Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) software development and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in Python with experience in rebuilding and enhancing automation tools.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) languages such as Python and Java.
- Experience with API development and testing ensuring seamless integration and system functionality.
- Familiarity with test automation practices including tools such as Pytest Selenium and Playwright.
- Understanding of clean coding concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices particularly Bamboo and GitHub/GitHub Actions.
- Good knowledge of Java for supporting Java-based components (desirable).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and proactive approach.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
- Ability to distinguish and deliver on both customer service and customer experience principles.
