The BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) provides behavioral support and interventions for students with disabilities across three schools. This role involves developing and implementing behavior plans conducting assessments training staff and collaborating with educators and families. Key Responsibilities:Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).Provide direct support and interventions to students including implementing BIPs teaching social skills and providing positive behavior school staff including teachers paraprofessionals and administrators on behavioral principles strategies and the implementation of with school teams including special education staff general education teachers and related service providers to ensure consistent and effective support for and analyze data on student behavior to monitor progress make data-based decisions and adjust interventions as in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities ensuring that behavioral needs are with families and home-based providers to promote generalization of learned skills between home and school Qualified candidates will:Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to educational equity inclusion and instructional excellenceCollaborate with colleagues and administration in analyzing data to positively impact student learningCommunicate effectively with students families colleagues and administrators
