Job Description
Type of contract:
- Permanent contract
- You will be based at our plant in Italy - Ancarano (TE)
As an Senior Accountant you will be part of our Finance Accounting department and you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports (Local and US GAAP)
- Perform account reconciliation; troubleshoot and analyze discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) tax laws and internal policies and procedures
- Analyze and verify internal consistency completeness and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents; make adjustments as necessary
- Responsible in preparing adjusting and closing journal entries
- Audit review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
- Coordinate accounting matters with other departments locations and divisions. (i.e. Customer Service Procurement Warehouse etc.) and with external accounting service firms
- Coordinating with external auditors tax consultants and regulatory agencies to ensure the Financial Statement and Tax return comply with local laws and requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Economy or related field
- 3-4 years experience in audit and accounting
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles practices and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Capacity to work on multiple projects and deadlines
- Capability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties;
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Italian
- Very good IT knowledge in particular Excel
- Nice to have Oracle knowledge
