Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Passionate about everything Food & Beverage and putting a smile on guests faces As a Part Time Breakfast Server you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by treating each person individually and making their food & beverage experience unforgettable. Your warm personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding offerings makes guests feel unique and valued.
- Complete Daily Operations (i.e. opening duties stocking polishing cleaning and maintaining walk-ins fridges and other areas as assigned by the F&B Manager on duty)
- Meet and greet guests and coordinate with F&B Team regarding preferences allergies and special occasions
- Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
- Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue
- Maintain accurate billing cash handling and float procedures
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Serving group functions per individual client specifications
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Follow all Hotel Service Standards
- Any other job tasks that may be assigned
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
- Occasional bending kneeling pushing pulling
- Occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs
- Frequent pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs
- Frequent handling and reaching outward
Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
Qualifications :
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
- 1 year restaurant experience preferred; serving experience an asset
- Creative and passionate about customer service
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Must be able to work any shift assigned such as holidays weekends mornings and potentially afternoons and evenings if needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage
