Job Description
Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Fords 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK Ons 30 years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the worlds best battery manufacturer.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Team Manager position at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Stanton Tennessee will have a unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team launching the facility from ground up.
The BlueOval SK Maintenance Team Manager will lead the maintenance team within the Battery site in Stanton TN in line with the facility Production System. This role will be responsible for leading a team of hourly and salaried employees at the facility including but not limited to:
- Ensure site grounds and parking lot maintenance including landscaping and snow removal
- Support preventative maintenance programs for facilities
- Comply with master licensing and site permit requirements
- Implement and maintain Visual Factory across all site plant engineering equipment
- Coordinate safe bulk unloads
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements including waste management recycling and wastewater treatment
- Comply with combustion safety and arc flash training and reporting requirements
- Manage mechanical/civil engineering projects

Qualifications
Youll have.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 5years of maintenance operations and technical experience
- 5 years technical work experience and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience and working closely with plant hourly salary and leadership.

- Masters degree
- 5 years of operations experience in a leadership role
- 5 years of manufacturing experience including automotive (assembly a plus)
- 5 years if experience in lean manufacturing
- Six Sigma Blackbelt
- Previous experience with Greenfield / Startup sites
Limited travel is expected throughout 2026 along with future relocation to Tennessee
It is anticipated that within 30 days of your employment with Ford you will become a secondee of BlueOval SK joint venture. A secondee is an employee who will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work at the BlueOval SK joint venture. The terms and conditions of your employment with the separate BlueOval SK joint venture will be communicated to you in advance. This position is a salary grade 6.
