Thinking about becoming a Wholetime Firefighter in Suffolk
If youre passionate about making a difference and ready for a rewarding challenge nows the time to take the first step.
Join one of our Taster Day sessions this August a required step before applying to become a wholetime firefighter this September.
What to Expect on the Day:
Youll hear from our team about life as a wholetime firefighter including shift patterns and the recruitment process. Youll tour the station explore fire appliances and try on protective gear. Our Health & Wellbeing team will explain the fitness requirements and youll also learn about the inclusive staff networks within Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
