Job Description
As a Project Manager / Estimator youll take full ownership of infrastructure and earthwork construction projectsfrom preparing estimates and competitive bids to managing project execution through closeout. You will work closely with operations teams clients and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes on public infrastructure underground utilities and earthwork projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of assigned construction projects: estimating bidding budgeting scheduling execution and closeout.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and material takeoffs based on project plans and specs.
- Track project budgets manage RFIs/submittals monitor costs and cash flow and analyze job profitability.
- Ensure on-time within-budget project delivery through detailed planning and proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Continuously seek process improvements and embrace a feedback-driven work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in construction project management and estimating.
- Strong background in earthwork underground infrastructure and public infrastructure projects.
- Deep understanding of job costing P&L statements receivables and cash flow management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel; experience with Foundation Software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills.
