Job Description
This is not an automotive mechanic role. Industrial motor experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect diagnose disassemble and repair AC/DC electric motors generators gearboxes and pumps
- Use precision tools: multimeters hi-pot testers growlers micrometers calipers and other diagnostic equipment
- Conduct failure analysis and document findings accurately
- Reassemble equipment according to OEM EASA and customer specifications
- Perform in-house and field repairs including basic electrical testing and balancing
- Maintain thorough records of inspections repairs and quality control
- Adhere to mechanical and electrical safety protocols and best practices
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience as an industrial motor mechanic or relevant technical/military training
- Hands-on experience with electric motor teardown inspection repair and reassembly
- Proficient in using testing equipment and precision measurement tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial setting
