Were seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our growing maintenance team. In this role youll help ensure our production equipment operates at peak efficiency by troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and troubleshoot minor electrical circuits PLC and electronic control systems.
- Install and service electrical and electronic controls using schematics and blueprints.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and assist in machine maintenance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and test electrical systems for hazards or malfunctions.
- Use CMMS systems to track maintenance tasks and locate parts.
- Interpret blueprints technical drawings and verbal instructions to perform accurate installations and repairs.
- Mount and wire motors transformers and other fixtures as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Mechatronics Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar technician or maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems hydraulic/pneumatic systems and mechanical repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and diagrams.
- Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and pass a pre-employment physical drug screen and background check.
