Synergy Senior Management is a leading management company specializing in Senior Assisted CareMemory Care and Independent Living. We manage operations marketing and provide a comprehensive range of services including IT support for various senior care facilities across Michigan. We are seeking a dependable dedicated and tech-savvy IT Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
Job Summary:
The IT Assistant will work directly under the Director of IT helping provide technical support maintain system integrity and assist in the day to day IT operations across multiple senior care facilities. This position is part-time and is a hybrid of remote and on-site work with a strong emphasis on field visits. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented has a passion for technology and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to staff at multiple facilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues
Set up and configure computers printers and peripheral devices
Support installation and maintenance of software applications
Manage user accounts passwords and security permissions across Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
Maintain and document IT processes configurations and troubleshooting steps
Perform regular data backups and assist in recovery procedures
Assist in configuring and supporting firewalls VLANs switches and Wi-Fi systems
Support network segmentation and basic server maintenance
Monitor and respond to IT helpdesk tickets prioritizing issues based on urgency
Assist with camera systems access control and onsite troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with IT security and company protocols
Help with VoIP system maintenance and general infrastructure tasks
Stay updated on current IT trends and best practices to improve support and efficiency
