Description

As a Principal Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and execution for our Mixed Signal hardware portfolio. This high-impact position offers direct visibility with executive leadership and the opportunity to influence the future of our technology!

Youll work cross-functionally with R&D Marketing and Sales to deeply understand customer problems and craft compelling product strategies that clearly differentiate our solutions in the market. Your ability to translate customer needs into actionable features and compelling benefits will be essential to delivering solutions that resonate in the market and secure long-term competitive advantage.

As a senior leader on the team youll also mentor and guide other product managers - sharing your expertise in product strategy and helping them grow into high-performing contributors.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering computer engineering computer science or equivalent
  • 8 years of product management R&D technical marketing or related roles in test and measurement applications
  • Experience with NI platform including DAQ PXI and LabVIEW is required

What Youll Do:

  • Own a product area end-to-endfrom defining new product concepts and driving execution to managing the full product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with R&Dto shape product strategy and ensure successful execution aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Partner with Marketing and Salesto develop compelling product positioning and articulate clear differentiated messaging.
  • Create impactful contentsuch as white papers presentations videos product demos and web collateral to drive awareness and demand for NIs products and technologies.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedbackto refine product messaging positioning and roadmap priorities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target buyer personas including their needs problems and decision-making criteria.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape generate competitive analyses and recommend strategic responses to maintain market leadership.
  • Support pre-sales effortsas a subject matter expert helping customers understand the value and capabilities of NIs solutions.
  • Support product-focused salesenablementacross both direct and indirect channels ensuring teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively position and sell our solutions.
  • Monitor and report on product performanceand health identifying key trends challenges and opportunities across both demand and supply dimensions.
  • Represent NIat industry events trade shows and conferences serving as a product expert and brand ambassador to engage with customers partners and leaders with vision.
