Job Description

Job Summary:

The Advancement & Communications Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting a dynamic team focused on advancing the mission of Saint Paul College through fundraising marketing and community engagement. This position provides essential administrative and operational support requiring strong organizational skills attention to detail and a proactive mindset. As part of our Advancement and Communications team youll help tell our story connect with our community and support the students shaping the future.

Job Duties:

  • Administrative & Executive Support

  • Marketing & Communications Assistance

  • Data & Records Management

  • Gift Support

  • Purchasing Support

  • Event Coordination

  • Customer Service

  • Other duties as assigned

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $20.45 - $27.12 hourly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years experience in administrative or office support.

  • Apply accurate spelling and grammar in written communications.

  • Knowledge of word processing software such as Microsoft Office or other relevant applications.

  • Ability to perform administrative support for expense and budget administration.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for communication.

  • Skills in database management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Communications Business Nonprofit Management or in another related field.

  • Two years experience working in higher education nonprofit or advancement setting.

  • Familiarity with donor databases such as Raisers Edge.

  • Experience supporting event planning or donor engagement.

  • Knowledge of contract purchasing and Minnesota State accounting practices.
