Job Description
Title: Mainframe Systems Administrator
Location: Omaha Nebraska (Onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze mainframe operating systems and resources to optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in the selection testing installation and implementation of new mainframe hardware and software.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years in mainframe engineering and administration.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with mainframe z/OS operating systems.
- Experience with RACF and security protocols.
- Experience with DB2 and JCL scripting.
Helpful Experience:
- Familiarity with Assembler COBOL CICS BMC and data structures.
- Familiarity with FileAid Expeditor IBM MQ and Broadcom CA7/CA1.
- Familiarity with REXX.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience.
