Job Description:

Position Summary:

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for GP reporting and Management Accounts for your assigned business division. This will include preparation of P&L reviews variance analysis and yearly budgets. Other responsibilities include invoicing and month/year end support and assisting the Finance Manager to ensure government compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a weekly GP report
  • Produce monthly invoice drafts
  • Monthly reconciliation of GP reporting to Management Accounts
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide support for month/year end management accounts posting journals and updating spreadsheets as required
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned responsible areas of the balance sheet
  • Provide cover/assistance for holiday
  • Ensure compliance with Ingram Micro policies and procedures
  • Attend training and develop relevant knowledge/skills
  • Ensure personal and team compliance with H&S and information security policies


What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in preparation of budgets/forecasts
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to draw useful conclusions from data analysis
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and appreciation of general accounting
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 desirable
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with management
  • Good IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Demonstrable ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
