Job Description
A growing healthcare financial services company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Managed Care Billing Specialist to handle billing collections and receivables for multiple skilled nursing facilities. Youll be responsible for Managed Medicaid MLTC and Commercial plan claims reviewing census data billing services reconciling payments and monitoring aging reports.
This role requires excellent attention to detail problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business office staff and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Managed Medicaid MLTC and Commercial plan claims for skilled nursing facilities.
- Review census data authorizations and billing services accurately.
- Monitor receivables aging reports and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with business office staff to ensure compliance and conduct audits.
- Meet month-end close deadlines and maintain accurate billing records.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Managed Care Billing experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation/post-acute facilities.
- Proficiency with healthcare billing systems PCC and CMS regulations.
- Ability to multitask across multiple payer types and projects.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in nursing home A/R bookkeeping preferred.
